A local woman takes wellness to a whole new level. She's outfitted her home, life and family.

It sounds so small when you say it out loud: her whole life changed with her toes.

"We started with magnetic insoles and some nutrition," said Arlene Cook Nikken, an independent consultant.

But what started with insoles-turned personal change quickly grew to a lifestyle change, a family change and even a career change!

Cook is an independent consultant for Nikken Wellness Products, and as the years passed Cook started outfitting her Panama City home. A guide she created rests on the living room table; she's revamped the water her family drinks, the food they all eat, the beds where they sleep and even the air they breathe.

"You're going to sleep anyways, you're going to drink water anyways, you're going to breathe anyways, so it's completely passive," said Cook.

Now it may not be the best of times to be adding things around your home, but from what Cook says, this can save you in the future.

"People spend more money to keep their car running than they body. They don't think about it until it's a crisis. Insurance companies say every dollar spent on health prevention, you save nine dollars down the line."
