A four-year old Deltona child is in the hospital after a dog attack.

Police say a black Labrador attacked the boy in the front yard of a home-based daycare.

He suffered severe head injuries, but doctors say they expect him to recover.

Police are still trying to find out how the dog got into the yard at the daycare and why it attacked the boy.
