Master sergeant Andre Williams devoted his life to the United States Military.
A 1985 graduate of Rutherford High School and a member of the R-O-T-C, Andre enlisted at the age of 17 and has served in the Air Force special forces for 20 years.
His aunt Patricia Frazier says "The day he left and went to the military he was staying with me. I'll never forget it. Was a Sunday morning, 17 yrs old. He was looking forward to getting out and enjoying the rest of his life with his family."
Sadly for Andre and his family...that dream was never realized.
His mom Betty said crying "I knew he was gonna call me, he never got home"
40 year old Andre was killed in a car accident Sunday night in Abilene Texas.
Stationed at Dyess Air Force Base, Andre was on his way home from work when he misjudged a turn, hit the guardrail on a bridge, tumbled over the side and landed upside down.
Andre’s family says he was killed on impact.
Betty Williams says "It’s sad. He didn't get to enjoy after military life, he gave all those years and he didn't get to enjoy his life after military."
The Williams family was excited to finally see Andre after two years next week for thanksgiving.
"He said mama I’m coming home the end of this month. He didn't make it. I won’t see him again."
Andre was set to retire from the military in March, his last day of work was November 30th.
The oldest of 5 children and raised by a single mother, Andre told his family he was considering a job near Hurlburt Field so he could be closer to his family.
“He had so many plans for the future. One thing he wanted he said mama you won’t have to worry about nothing ever again. He said you took care of me and now I’m in a position where I can take care of you"
Patricia Frazier says "he had dreams so many dreams he was a good person.
Andre’s wife of three years Cleopatra and 3 year old son De'andre live in the Philippines but the two families have never met.
Betty hopes they can come together and find a way to finally meet

When I heard 'Dre had passed away a few days ago I couldn't believe it. He had the ability to make everyone laugh and forget their sorrows. I hadn't seen 'Dre since we were stationed together in Okinawa but we kept in touch through e-mail. You will be missed bro!

Dre, I had not seen you in years, but I still considered you family. I cannot believe the Lord took you home so soon. I grew up with your family, and one of your uncles is my Godfather. Just know that you are loved by all and will be missed by all. I know that you are now an Angel watching over the family. My prayers are with you and all of your family! I will miss you, man--but I will never forget you!

TO HELP INFORCE SAFE BUS STOPS: MAYBE THERE NEEDS PROGRAMS AT HOME AND /OR SCHOOL TO REMIND THE CHILDREN OF SAFETY ON AND NEAR THE ROADS AND BUS STOPS. IF YOU DON'T RUN INTO THE ROAD TO GET A BALL, NOTEBOOK, PAPER WHY GO AFTER AN ANIMAL. AGAIN PARENTS ARE NOT DOING THEIR JOBS. A PARENT AT EACH STOP WOULD HELP.
