Second Chance of Northwest Florida held their holiday fundraiser on Sunday.

The holiday shopping-bazaar event had enough trees, decorations and holiday items to fill a football stadium----well maybe not that many----but enough to fill the community room at the People's First Bank off 23rd Street.

The point of the holiday festival is to get Christmas shopping done early while benefiting Second Chance.

The United Way affiliated organization exists to help adults suffering with brain injuries.

Sherl Morden, with Second Chance of NW Florida told NewsChannel 7, "We have a very talented group of people, we have you know artists in the program and some of their handy work is here today they are decorated Christmas Balls."

Organizers say since this was their first year for the holiday-bazaar they weren't sure what to expect. However, it was such a great turnout there's talk of holding another one next year.
