Jackson County Sheriff's investigators say 41-year-old Larry Lee Davis and 40-year-old Margaret Elizabeth Walker took a wallet from an unattended shopping cart at the Super-Walmart in Marianna, Thanksgiving night.

Investigators say they were able to identify Walker and Davis from store security cameras, and arrested them Monday.

They're charged with grand theft.

Times are tough, the economy down the tubes, but that does not give anyone the right to steal from another. You do the crime, you do the time !!!

I didn't read where they wrote "it happens all the time" BUT HELLO it is the holidays and it does happen all the time. Even when it is not a holiday. They are doing something- CHARGED with GRAND THEFT! And Wal-mart is using it's cameras to catch theives- it is not their "DUTY" PEOPLE need use some common sense don't leave your belongings in the open AND this is the second time in 2 weeks their cameras have made the news!! Bottom line WATCH YOU WALLET and your PURSE. Trust days are gone and LOCKS are for honest people. We are only vicitims IF WE LET OURSELVES BE!! Thanks to Walmart and JCSO for catching and charging them. And this has been happening all over here... the Manager of Grocery Outlet walks around and warns his customers- thanks for going above your DUTIES!!

Wallmart has a duty to their customers to use their in place security to promote protection. Is is not acceptable just to say "it happens all the time" and do nothing!
