Authorities are investigating what they call a suspicious fire in Springfield. It happened Wednesday evening, at a mobile home in the 500 block of Springfield Avenue.
Firefighters say the flames gutted the inside of the mobile home. No one lives in the home, and no one was hurt. But they believe several people were inside Wednesday night, and may have lit a sofa on fire.
The State Fire Marshal's office is investigating this as a possible arson case.
