With less than 24 hours until Christmas morning, last-minute shoppers filled stores with their Christmas list in hand.

Some needed one more item; others were just starting to buy gifts.

These last-minute shoppers agree this year's Christmas Eve deals were worth the wait.

The spirit of giving filled stores at the silver sands factory outlets as last-minute shoppers browsed sale racks.

Surprisingly, the mood was calm as these self- proclaimed procrastinators hunted for the perfect holiday gifts.

Last-Minute Shopper Keller Blincoe says, “I always do things last minute and if I don't have it on Christmas Day then they understand. I can get it to them the next day."

Others planned on getting a head start on Christmas shopping, but their busy schedules got in the way.

Last-Minute Shopper Camy Blincoe says, "I have like one gift but not anything else."

Not everyone at the outlets felt the pressure of Christmas Eve spending.

We caught some holiday shoppers who had great joy.

Early Shopper Blair Blincoe says, "You kind of caught me red handed. I've kind of done my Christmas shopping so I'm in the mood to shop for myself."

Throughout the center, experienced buyers juggled arms full of bags and cart-loads of clothes.

Some of these last-minute shoppers say, this year, their procrastination paid off.

Last-Minute Shopper Marc Schuhl says, "Right now there are amazing deals. I don't think normally we would be shopping in Sacks the day before Christmas but this year they are paying us to come in the store."

Shoppers who purchased gifts weeks ago have a message for all those who waited.

They say procrastination isn't an excuse to buy whatever you can find.

Early Shopper Katie Allen says, "Oh, that's easy. The worst Christmas gift I ever got was a bunch of monogrammed stuff that had all the wrong initials on it."

Last-minute shoppers admit they'll face the consequences for delayed gift buying.

While early shoppers enjoy a silent night nestled all snug in their beds, they'll still be up wrapping gifts as Santa Claus is coming to town.

Outlet managers say December sale numbers are up.

Shops have had more customers than this time last year.
