A 17-year-old boy is dead following an early morning wreck Sunday in Okaloosa County.
Florida Highway Patrol troopers tell us 17-year-old Bryan Williams was driving the car with 17-year-old Tyler Jones as his passenger.
Both boys are from Baker and were on Old River Road just north of Dove Lane when Williams was going over the speed limit and wasn't able to turn with the natural curve of the road.
Instead the car ran into a ditch throwing Tyler Jones his passenger out of the car.
Jones was immediately pronounced dead and Williams taken to North Okaloosa Medical Center.
Neither boy was wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.
It's not known yet whether alcohol played a factor in this accident.
