I'm the Duaghter of Frankie Wells, and she would have never shot Ricky if she didn't have to! The real victims of this crime are the family because now we have neither Mom nor Dad! The Walton County Sherriff's office needs to be fired for what they have done ! The neighbor to the house called the sherriffs ofice a week before mom shot him to complain about dad shooting the guns off at all hours of the night and they told her there was nothing they could do but they could have he was not allowed to be in possesion of a gun and they(sherriffs ofice ) knew this! The neighbor even knew it! She told them this on the phone about 2 in the moring! My mom has taken her own life and now we find out it was self defense! That's right she had to shoot him but she could never live without Rick no matter what I know they would have never left each other as sick as the relationship was on both parts they loved each other deeply! I'm sorry for the pain this has bought to the Wells family and to ours!

first of as she said she was play draw with gunshot that sound not a toys .. it is count of murder .. that amy is my best friend it her uncle and i beleive that woman need to go life in prson for what she had be done to him .. the news need to find why she shot him .. first of all you said unload but still not right it is count of murder ... frankie is no excuse but heavy drugs ... stupid enough she shot him for that game is dummy now!!! thank you but amy you are my speical best friend but ill be there for you if you need me ... love you girl ... bonnie

I am Ricks brother and there was not a kinder soul on the planet. He took more abuse from his relationships than he ever gave. He also was a hunter and was raised around guns and I can tell you with certainty that there is no way in hell there was any games being played, the only game here is Sue trying to lessen her sentance. I love my brother with all my heart and I know the kind of man he was... this world has lost a good man.

I too want everyone to know that Ricky Wells was a wonderful and kind person. The news keeps capitalizing on Ricky's problems instead of looking for the truth behind this horrible murder.

Ricky was my uncle and he was a great guy. Someone needs to hear his side. He may have made poor choices when it came to alcohol but that doesn't make him a bad person. There wasn't a bad bone in Ricky's body. He was a good man. Sue, may god forgive you for what you did and may justice forgive you if it really was an accident. talk to his first wife for a true assesment of Ricky Wells.
