Suspect Arrested For Robbery At Roeses
Bay County Sheriff Frank McKeithen announced the arrest of a Bay County man Tuesday, in reference to the robbery which occurred at Roese's Grocery on Saturday, February 7, 2008, in the early morning hours.

Bay County Sheriff Frank McKeithen announced the arrest of a Bay County man Tuesday, in reference to the robbery which occurred at Roese's Grocery on Saturday, February 7, 2008, in the early morning hours.
Lewis L. Spivey, of Fountain, was arrested and charged Tuesday after investigation revealed he was responsible for the robbery.
A firearm matching the description of the one used in the robbery was recovered from Spivey's house.
Spivey also matched the physical description of the robber provided by the victim in this case.
During an interview with Spivey, he admitted to investigators he committed the robbery, saying he had a methamphetamine addiction and used the money to purchase the drug.
Spivey was booked into the Bay County Jail on one count of Armed Robbery With a Firearm, Use of a Firearm During the Commission of a Felony, and Aggravated Assault With a Firearm.
He will go in front of a judge today for first appearance.
