The Bolinger battle goes to a state administrative hearing on November 1.
Administrative Law Judge Suzanne Hood will conduct a hearing in Panama City on whether the Bay County School Board can overturn the reassignment of Bay High Principal Larry Bolinger.
School Superintendent James McCalister set off a firestorm of controversy this spring when he tried to remove Bolinger from Bay High and send him to Jinks Middle School.
But the school board refused to let McCalister make the change, so McCalister took the case to the Division of Administrative Hearings.
Judge Hood has set the hearing for 9:00 in the morning on November 1 at the school board headquarters.
Hood will hear both sides and make a recommendation, which goes to the school board for a final decision.
