Folks in northwest Florida got the chance to meet a true 9/11 hero Tuesday night.
Former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani spoke at the Walton County Chamber of Commerce 80th Anniversary Dinner.
He says he is enjoying his time on the beaches of Sandestin, especially after last week's grim fifth anniversary of 9/11.
The former mayor stewarded New York City through the aftermath of the terrorist attacks.
He remains supportive of President Bush, the War on Terror and the war in Iraq. This support comes even as President Bush’s approval ratings and popularity slips, even among Republicans.
Giuliani says he has been traveling and raising money for Republicans in tight election races, but when asked about a possible 2008 presidential bid, he says we'll just have to wait till next year to find out.
