The Bay County traffic engineering department is making it's eight live traffic cameras along the bridge available on the web.
The cameras are connected to the Bay County traffic management center.
The video captured by the cameras is not recorded or saved and cannot be used to monitor traffic violations or for accident investigations.
In the future county traffic engineers will be able to monitor conditions and remotely change traffic signals to reduce congestion.
It's all part of the effort to keep drivers informed and moving.
Keith Bryant with Bay County engineering says, "This feature just helps if there's an incident on the bridge we can let the citizens know faster. We can also give traffic updates if they want to check their route before they go home and check congestion on their own, and plan their trip."
The live link will be available at www.Baycountyfl.Gov starting tomorrow.
