When an accident occurs, usually police are the first on the scene. Now with help from Gulf Coast Medical Center, officers can quickly give aid to those who need it.
These first aid kits are going to be distributed in all of the Panama City Police Department's 97 patrol cars.
The Panama City Hunger and Homeless Coalition brought the idea up to the department saying that police officers are usually the first people to respond to medical emergencies and need the kits to assist in injuries.
Thanks to Gulf Coast Medical Center and it's donation of first aid kits, officers are now ready to respond.
Gulf Coast donated 250 first aid kits to the Panama City Police Department.
