Area Airmen Come Home From Iraq

The 728th Air Control Squadron of Eglin Air Force Base got to come home this weekend.

But the 180 airman won't be home for long. They'll be heading back to Iraq for the 4th time in Mid January.

The group found itself under attack 130 times, but luckily they all came home safely. Most have volunteers to go back with the group in January.

There was a big welcome home ceremony for the airman in an Eglin Hanger Saturday.

Their deployment in January will be the squadron's fourth deployment since the start of Operation Iraqi Freedom.
