You probably saw a few motorcycles around the area Saturday that's because some bikers are trying to break a Guinness Book of World Records for the world's largest poker run.

The poker run benefited the Fallen Firefighter Survivors Foundation.

Organizers say bikers from 11 states and 40 Red Knight chapters are taking part in the attempt.

The event was hosted by the Red Knights motorcycle club Florida Chapter 13. It began this morning at the front porch on front beach road and ended at Mulligans on 23rd street.

"It's to honor the men and women who serve us and the loyalty of being a firefighter. There are so many line of duty deaths every year and this foundation provides immediate assistance to those families," Rachael Howard, of the Red Knights Motorcycle Club FL Chapter 13 said.

Organizers are still trying to get the final total of bikers and could have an answer tomorrow as to whether or not they have a world record.
