State Attorney Glenn Hess will serve as the lead prosecutor in his first murder trial in Jackson County on Tuesday.
The first-degree murder trial of Danny Jackson began at 9 a.m. Tuesday. Jackson, of Gordon, Alabama, is accused of shooting 47-year-old Lonnie Lee Baxter in April 2008.
