The local driver’s license office has moved from Parker to the Lincoln Center in the 100 block of West 15th Street in Panama City. It's also known as the Knology building.
Not involved in the move from Parker is the branch office of Bay County Tax Collector Peggy Brannon, whose Parker branch office remains open in the same location.
Brannon says some people became confused and assumed that her office in Parker was closing when the driver’s license folks moved out a month ago. That's not the case, she says.
Her branch office remains open for business as usual in Parker, where you can buy tags, hunting and fishing licenses, pay taxes and handle any other transactions normally handled by the Tax Collectors office.
The driver’s license office is open four days a week except Monday, at its location now in the Knology building.
