The Visual Arts Center of Northwest Florida is hosted the 44th Annual Spring Festival of the Arts in Mckenzie Park over the weekend.
About 35-vendors set up to showcase pottery, paintings, photography, glass work, and jewelry.
Throughout the festival, there were multiple activities and events for all ages including performances from many different aspects of the arts and a Mommy and Me painting class, which was sponsored by the Visual Arts Center.
The festival has been a popular event for families in the Panama City area for years, but the Visual Arts Center hasn't always been the host of it.
"We actually inherited it from the Women's Club and now it’s returning, it was once Downtown Festival of the Arts and now it is Spring Festival of the Arts once again, just to honor them and continue the tradition,” said Amanda Barrow, the Director of Partnerships and Events for the Visual Arts Center.
The event takes place during the first weekend in May, every year.
