Dog that attacked an 11-year-old Callaway boy put to sleep
The rottweiler that attacked an 11-year-old Callaway boy has been put to sleep.

The rottweiler named DJ who attacked Gage Hauck has been put to sleep.
According to Bay County Animal Control Director Jim Crosby, DJ was put down on May 5th. The dog bit Gage eight times as he was on his way to school.
The attack left him with gashes, cuts, and bruises and afraid to walk to school again.
The dogs owners, Janerio and Stephanie Johnson were arrested and charged with a felony count of attack or bite by a dangerous dog.
