Another Arrest in Port St. Joe Stabbings

Port St. Joe police say the second suspect in a double stabbing is now behind bars.

65-year-old Edward Robledo is in the Leon County jail in Tallahassee, charged with 2-counts of attempted murder.

Port St. Joe police investigators say Robledo and his brother Bennie Robledo attacked a grandfather and his 13-year-old grandson back on October 13th. The two were castnet fishing at the George Tapper Bridge at Hiland View.

The Robledo brothers were supposedly fishing in their boat nearby. The victims say they think the castnet bothered the two brothers, so they confronted the grandfather.

That's when the Robledo's allegedly pulled knives, stabbed the grandfather three times and the 13-year-old once. They're recovering from their wounds.

Bennie Robledo was arrested about a week ago. He's posted bond and is free.

Edward Robledo was arrested Thursday morning in Tallahassee and is in the Leon County jail.

He'll be brought back to Gulf County and given the opportunity to post bond as well.
