Republican Charlie Crist is not taking for granted the latest polls showing him in the lead in the race for governor.
Crist and Democrat Jim Davis are each doing all they can do. Their hope is to follow Gov. Jeb Bush.
Crist, who's the state attorney general, brought in former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani to campaign with him Sunday.
They began the morning with rally in Miami. The plan was to hit Boca Raton, Sanford, and Pinellas Park before the day was done.
As for Jim Davis, he also spent the day in Miami. He visited six churches, and then headed to central Florida, hoping his cry for change would fall on eager ears.
