Since President Barack Obama's election, democrats around the country are trying to find ways of promoting his agenda.

One way is through a listening tour. The tour stopped by Panama City Tuesday evening.

Organizing for America or OFA, the Democratic National Committee's grassroots project was in town letting residents voice their opinions on issues ranging from health care, energy reform, and education.

It's all an effort to "listen" to supporters and volunteers from the general election and find ways of promoting the president's agenda throughout the state of Florida.

"Use this opportunity to get feedback from the community. We're doing something different for OFA. We're organizing around the issues that brought us all to the campaign to begin with," John Bivona, of Organizing for America said.
