A Springfield woman is recovering after she was stabbed early Monday morning.
According to reports, a little before 7 a.m. Monday, police arrived at an apartment located at 5115 East 10th Street to find 22-year-old April Gaither stabbed in the stomach. Authorities say the person who stabbed her, 29-year-old Mesheka Steele admitted to the incident.
Gaithers was transported to an area hospital where she was treated and released.
Steele has been arrested and taken to the Bay County Jail, charged with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon.

These females need to read up on Brandi Thicklands story! God Bless The dead but they should no better than to go to a females house starting drama because you may end up in the same way which is sad because those kids are not without a mother. my advise is to stay away from another females house especially if it is over a man because it is not worth the cost of almost loosing your life. get it over it and move on there is plenty out there!
