The husband of a woman who vanished from a Carnival cruise ship in the Gulf of Mexico says he was asleep when she left their compartment and her disappearance makes no sense.
Swede Vilborg told the Mobile Press-Register in a story Wednesday that he last talked to his wife when she was getting ready to take a shower the night she disappeared. The 58-year-old Vilborg said he fell asleep and woke up when he heard the boat stop and realized she was not in the cabin.
Vilborg said the last time he spoke with his 50-year-old wife they were making plans to go swimming on the boat the next day.
