Jackson County Sheriff's Investigators are still looking for a suspect in a bank robbery.

It happened just a little before 2:00 this afternoon at this People's South Bank in Greenwood.
This is not the first time the bank has been robbed.
Investigators say the robber walked into the bank, handed the teller a note, and demanded money.
The teller complied, then the man ran out of the bank, and across the street.
None of the employees or customers were hurt.
Sheriff's Investigators, State Troopers and State Game officers began searching the area surrounding the bank, with the help of a K-9 unit from a nearby prison.

"During this time, the weather was very bad in some parts of the county. It held off a little bit here before the rain actually set in and that may have possibly contributed to the fact that they were unsuccessfully able to track," says Jackson County Sheriff Lou Roberts.

The suspect appears to be a black male, approximately 5'8 and 180 pounds.
He was wearing short blue jeans, a blue-ish shirt with a baseball cap.
Investigators believe he had semi-long hair with red streaks which could be a wig.
If you have any information about this case, please contact the Jackson County Sheriff's Office at 482-9624.
