A Panama City Beach man and woman are discovered dead this morning in their apartment off of Alf Colemen Road.

The Bay County Sheriff's Office responded to the call just after 9 a.m. at the Cabana West apartments.

In preliminary reports, the Medical Examiners Office believes Robert Bumpus killed his wife Karrie Bumpus before turning the gun on himself.

According to a neighbor, a young man was running up and down the street claiming his step dad killed his mom.

This neighbor also says he entered the apartment and saw a body and then helped the man dial 911.

After contacting the deputies the son became so flustered he got in his car and drove off.

The bodies have been turned over to the Medical Examiner's Office for an autopsy

This is an unfortunate event, fortunately the new president is pumping up law enforcement, why did the son run off?

Unfortunately...and everyone please don't take this wrong...I know things are sensitive because the boy is just 16 years old...but I believe the 16 year old son killed them. I knew this couple personally - a great couple...and this may seem very odd, but I see things...no I am not a psychic...I am a spirit-filled believer, and my accuracy in these things has been about 99% right on target...I hate this because I loved their son too...but it has to do with certain video games, and what had access to him thru these games...If I were reading this post from someone else I would think they were crazy...I'm not going to go any further into this because I understand how this may sound...but as much as I don't want it to be true, I believe the grandparents are in grave danger having the son with him, and hope someone reads this post who can do something about it...I wish I were wrong...but I know I am not.

They seemed like a nice, loving couple. What could lead to this?! Their son is in our thoughts.
