4 Jailed as West Side Meth Lab is Raided

Panama City police have arrested for local residents after investigators found them running an active Meth Lab in a St. Andrew area motel room.

Jailed were Brittany R. Akins, 28, Stephen R. Coppock, 30, Robert J. Parker, 30 and Kimberly A. McCullough also 30 years old.

The four were charged after police found an active “Shake and Bake”:Meth Lab in a room at the Scottish Inn Motel at 4907 West Highway 98 late Wednesday night. Each is charged with Trafficking Methamphetamine, Manufacture Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of Listed Chemicals and possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Brittany Akins was also charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance.

Officers say when they went to the motel room they were greeted with a cloud of fumes from the active Math Lab. Panama City Fire Fighters were on hand for safety as specially trained personnel dismantled the Meth Lab safely.
