4th Arrest Made in Weekend Shooting

JACKSON COUNTY-- Jackson County Sheriff's Investigators have now arrested a 4th person in-connection with a double shooting in Grand Ridge this past weekend.

24 year old Laderious D. Corbitt Pittman surrendered to Jackson County Sheriff's Deputies Thursday afternoon.

He's charged with murder, and attempted murder.

Pittman joins Jordan Davis, Chris Laster and Dayeisha Curry in the Jackson County Jail.

Each is being held without bond.

Davis is also charged with murder, and attempted murder.

Laster and Curry are facing 1-count each of principle to homicide and principal to attempted murder.

Investigators say Curry arranged a meeting with Travis Locke and Patrick Register to buy pills used to make methamphetamine.

But they say Davis, Laster and now Pittman, ambushed Locke and Register on Dellwood Cypress Road near Grand Ridge early Sunday morning.
Both men were shot.
Register was airlifted to Bay Medical Sacred Heart Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Locke was treated and released from Jackson Hospital in Marianna.

Authorities arrested Davis, Laster and Curry during a traffic stop in Marianna.

They say during the course of the investigation they gathered enough evidence and witness statements to identify Pittman as a suspect.

He's due in court Friday for a bond hearing.
