On Sunday, a twelve-year-old girl told an acquaintance on "facebook.com" that she had been molested by her neighbor; at that time the acquaintance contacted the girl’s parents, and gave them the information she had received.

The girl’s parents contacted the Sheriff’s Office, and an interview was conducted with the victim. At that time, she disclosed being molested by a neighbor, while at the neighbor’s house.

Contact was made with the neighbor, Jason Richard Beck, of Sherman Ave. in Panama City.

Authorities contacted Beck and after interviews, he was arrested and charged with one count of Lewd and Lascivious Battery. Beck was tranported to Bay County Jail and is awaiting first appearance Monday afternoon.
