Maddox to Run for Florida Cabinet Post
Former Florida Democratic Party Chairman Scott Maddox is getting back into politics and plans to enter the race for agriculture commissioner.

Former Florida Democratic Party Chairman Scott Maddox is getting back into politics and plans to enter the race for agriculture commissioner.
Maddox said Tuesday he will file his paperwork next week to seek the position Republican Charles Bronson is leaving because of term limits.
Maddox was briefly a candidate for governor in the 2006 election and ran for attorney general in 2002, losing a close primary race to Buddy Dyer.Maddox also served nearly 10 years as mayor of Tallahassee before running the state Democratic Party for two years.
