A celebration was held Saturday on the heels of the recent merger for the Girls Scout Council of the Florida Panhandle.
The council now is made up of 19 counties across the Panhandle and boasts 8,500 girls and 2,500 volunteers.
Saturday's event was held at the Jackson County Agricultural Center in Marianna.
Saturday's free carnival and concert featuring songstress Teresa is designed to allow the girls to meet each other and make new friends; as well as a great social networking opportunity for the scout leaders.
The Girl Scouts is made up of girls from kindergarten through the 12th grade.
