Some local Comcast cable customers say they're a bit confused about where to find their favorite tv stations.

The issue is affecting customers who subscribe to Comcast's high definition service.

Comcast moved the majority of its HD channels yesterday, from the 200's to the 400's.

For instance, Newschannel 7 HD moved from channel 232 to 432. Comcast management says the move will increase the level of bandwidth and allow them to offer customers more high definition channels.

But the change has affected people using a digital video recording box or TIVO service. The boxes are not recording the programs customers want, because the channels changed.

Comcast managers say you need to go to either their Panama City or Panama City Beach offices and pick up a free digital level starter box.

"We're having to move channels off of our analog line up which is basic programming they're receiving now to our digital line up. What this does is frees up space and gives us the opportunity to free up more HD channels," Cil Schnitker, Comcast Panama City's Community and Business Development Manager said.

The change will also increase the speed of Comcast's internet connection.
