Sneads Police Investigators need your help in locating a missing man.
29-year-old Myair Mathis has been missing since June 3rd and no one has heard from him.

Friends and family are clinging to the hope that he's still alive.

It's been more than two months since anyone has seen this man, 29-year-old Myair Mathis.
This is one of the only pictures of Mathis in existence.
His girlfriend, Karen Chisholm, says it's very unusual for them not to talk on a daily basis.

"He calls 10, 12 times a day."

Chisholm reported Mathis missing on June 5th to the Sneads Police Department.
He was living here at this mobile home at the time with his mom and brother.

"I know my kids. I haven't seen him in a while and I want him to come home."

Sneads Police Chief Burt McAlpin has been in contact with the family everyday.
He believes the last time Mathis was actually seen was on the night of June 2nd.

"Throughout the course of this investigation thus far, we've know who he left Sneads with that afternoon. We know they went to an area in Greenwood, Florida, drinking and partying."

McAlpin says they've received information that Mathis was dropped off at his girlfriend's apartment in Chattahoochee.
But they have not been able to substantiate it.

"(We) talked with several sources of information from law enforcement to information out in the streets....it's like he vanished. No one over there has seen him."

"Investigators have searched several areas including this Chattahoochee neighborhood in Gadsden County. They've been in contact with other agencies in Florida and even the Georgia Bureau of Investigation."

"We've even talked to some of his extended family members in South Florida who all has not seen him. Something's wrong."

McAlpin also says Mathis did have previous run-ins with the law but was not wanted at the time.
His girlfriend and his family say they just want to have a sense of closure from all of this.

"Yeah, if he's alive or not. Because it just hurts so much."
"We're desperately seeking information so we can put this at rest."

Mathis is about 5'9 to 5'11 inches tall.
He has a muscular build and weighs about 200 pounds.
