Nineteen-year-old Mackenzie Buckley was heading west on 15th Street.
She was on her way to class at Gulf Coast Community College when 22-year-old Drew Smith, driving a red Camaro pulled out in front of her at Calhoun Street.
The two cars collided, causing Buckley’s Honda to spin into a nearby Dodge pick-up truck. Then the truck hit the front end of a stopped bus filled with students.
No one was seriously injured and the Panama City Police say the driver of the Camaro is at fault for the accident.
The students say they were just happy to be late for school.
