Holmes County Fire

The Bonifay Fire Department responded quickly to the scene and found the trailer fully engulfed in flames and too hot to enter.

Neighbors were screaming that one man escaped, but another was still inside the home.

The victim died trying to escape the fire, only making it a few feet from the front door.

Holmes County Sheriff Officials are withholding the name of the victim, who is a migrant worker, until his family is notified.

Another man did survive the fire, but is being stabilized at Doctor's Memorial Hospital in Bonifay.

Investigators say the fire may have been caused by an electrical wiring problem.
