Red Light Runners

With slick roads and rainy weather making for bad driving conditions, Bay County sheriff's deputies are trying to keep accidents from happening at one major area intersection.

Deputies are pulling over people running the left turn red light at Highway 98 and Thomas Drive just west of the Hathaway Bridge in Panama City Beach. Deputies say the intersection is a problem area with many people not obeying the lights and signs posted.

The group averaged two red light runners per light cycle, and deputies say that makes the intersection even more dangerous.
