Preferring to err on the side of caution, Bay County emergency management officials sealed off a local walk-in clinic, after a patient was exposed to an unknown powder.

Panama City police showed-up at the Bay Walk-In Clinic on Highway 77 and 23rd Street Friday afternoon after clinic workers reported the scare.

Apparently a lunchroom worker from Hiland Park Elementary came to the clinic complaining of eye irritation and a rash. She says a student handed her some cash in an envelope.

There was also some kind of powder inside. The bay county hazmat team tested the powder and found it was not dangerous.

They're sending it to a lab for testing.
