11:01 a.m. Several witnesses have testified; crime scene photos are coming up...two witnesses, LaRuth Snow and her daughter, Destiny, lived next door to the victims apartment.

They both said they heard what sounded like a door slam twice at the victim's apartment around 2:45 to 3 a.m...they believe it could have been a gunshot and then a door slam later.

9:22 a.m. Destiny Snow says she heard bumping noises in the bathtub and water running...she also said she thought she heard victim say 'no', 'stop', and 'please'.

The state has 18 witnesses listed for today...they called a short recess as there are 2 missing for testimony.

JC Sheriff Lou Roberts, investigator Virgil Watson and Marianna PD Captain Bill Bryant are expected to testify later on today...all three have been involved in the whole case since 2005.

Testimony is underway in the Wesley Williams Marianna Quad Murders trial. The state began presenting it's case Wednesday morning, calling almost ten witnesses. Prosecutors are building their case around the motive that Williams killed the victims to avoid paying $700 a month in child support. Williams faces four counts of first degree murder and three counts of aggravated child abuse for the March 17, 2005 murders. Williams could face the death penalty if he is found guilty.
