Department of Transportation workers are showing their support on their portable flashing sign on Highway 390. The troops should pass by the sign on their way to the local armory.
Mowat Middle Schoolers lined their fence with hundreds of yellow ribbons. Bay district school officials showed their pride at the district offices on Balboa Avenue.
Many of those local troops are recent are high school graduates.
"Many of these troops will have probably gone through the bay county school system at one time or another and again we thought it was just the thing to do just to show that we were supportive in their endeavor," says James McCalister, Bay County Superintendent.
At last word, local Guard troops should arrive home on Saturday.
