Firefighters arrived at the St. Andrews office on the corner of Beck Avenue and West 11th Street at about 3:15 Tuesday morning. The building had already filled with smoke.

Investigators say it appears the arsonist set the fire in two different places. Panama City Police were responding to a burglar alarm at the building when they discovered the fire.

Damages are estimated to be as high as $50,000. In the meantime, probation and parole officers have moved outside and are working from the building’s parking lot while the cleanup and repairs are underway.

Authorities are offering a $2,500 reward for information leading to an arrest. Call the Panama City Police Department or the State Fire Marshall's office with details.
