Deputies James Fannin and Jennifer Schinstine were each suspended without pay on February 6.
An internal investigation revealed both Fannin and Schinstine were married at the time of the affair. That's a violation of department policy.
Fannin has since gotten divorced. His ex-wife reported the matter last November.
Schinstine was married to an Okaloosa County deputy. They've also divorced.
