A judge postponed Tuesday morning's hearing between members of the Okaloosa Walton Community College Foundation and Mattie Kelly's family.
Kelley's family is trying to block the sale of her Destin estate by the college. Kelly willed the home and surrounding 13 acres to the college over a decade ago to establish a cultural and environmental institute.
The college foundation wants to sell the land for $8 million to fund scholarships.
Florida state Attorney Gen. Charlie Crist may also get involved in the dispute.
Tuesday’s hearing was rescheduled for Friday.
