Spring Break is now entering its fourth week, and each year usually sees incidents of people falling from balconies. Many hotels have simply blocked access.
Officials say Amit Patel fell Sunday at the Casa Loma Motel on Front Beach Road. But Panama City Beach police say he was alert and talking despite the fall.
A release says Patel “was leaning over the balcony when he appeared to have lost his balance and fell to the ground, three floors below.” Details of the injuries have not been released.
