A Panama City man charged in a weekend drug bust in Abbeville, Alabama is being held without bond.
Authorities say a routine traffic stop Saturday evening on Highway 431 in Abbeville resulted in the seizure of 2.2 kilograms of cocaine and more than $7,300 in cash.
Twenty-nine-year-old Anthony LaQuan Oliver of Panama City, Florida, was charged with trafficking cocaine and possession of marijuana.
Police believe the cocaine was picked up Atlanta and was headed to Panama City for distribution. Authorities also said Highway 431 is often used as a corridor to transport illegal drugs out of Atlanta.
Abbeville Police Chief Mickey Shelley believes it was the county's largest drug seizure in its history.
