Saturday the ID Crew was out at K-Mart on Highway 98 in Panama City getting fingerprints and pictures on file. They've logged about 3,000 children in the last three years.

Saturday alone the group ID'd 45 youngsters. Sergeant Marc Tochterman with the Bay County Sheriff's Office says the ID Crew will be out at different locations almost every weekend this summer. The goal is to get every child registered in case the worst happens.

If you would like to have your child registered with the Bay County Sheriff's Office please have your child's birth certificate, social security number and dentist information.

Call the Sheriff's Office at 747-7400 for more details.
