The Second Annual Covenant Hospice Mask Parade is underway with the unveiling of the masks Saturday at Panama City Mall. The masks will be on display for about two weeks, then Hospice will move then to the Bay Point Marriott where they'll go up for auction on April 3.
This year Florida State University Football Coach Bobby Bowden donated his artistic talents for a mask, as well as University of Florida Head Football Coach Ron Zook. Also on the auction block for this charitable cause masks by Gov. Jeb Bush, singer Celine Dion and actors Courtney Cox and David Arquette.
Lori Fitzgerald with Covenant Hospice says last year the organization made more than $40,000 on the auction. Tickets for this year's Gala are $75, and that includes dinner.
