The show will feature the Air Force's Thunderbird Precision Flight Team. T-Bird pilots held a practice session Friday for an audience of kids from Okaloosa County schools, special needs programs and the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

The kids loved the show. This weekend's event will be jam-packed with dozens of military aircraft on static display and performing flight exhibitions.

Lt. Col. David Gould of the 96th Airborne Squadron, says, "We only do it every other year, most base do it every years but we do ours every other year so we try to put that extra effort into it because we're only doing it 50 percent of the time of other places.

The air show runs 9:00 to 5:00 both Friday and Sunday. It is free and open to the public.
