Five more dolphins did come ashore on Saturday, bringing the death total to 78.

Laura Ingleby, a biologist with the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, says the latest carcasses to wash ashore died recently.

Ingleby says biologists are able to get more accurate samples from the fresh animals, however, it also means the dolphins are continuing to die from something in the Gulf.

While biologists are not ruling anything out, some evidence points towards a natural biotoxin in the water.
