FSU Panama City celebrated the opening of the campus' first new building in over 20 years Wednesday afternoon.
A ribbon cutting ceremony marked the administrative services center as the university's newest addition.
The $7.4 million, 14,000 square foot building will house the police department, postal service center, maintenance department, and receiving area.
The facility also features a heating and cooling plant for the entire campus.
George DePuy, FSU PC Dean, said, "We'll finally have appropriate offices. We'll finally have appropriate warehouse facilities. They are particularly excited about it to have the kind of space they've wanted for a long time."
The facility is the first of two new facilities.
The campus' new academic center will be 100,000 square feet and take about 18 months to complete.
